Deb loves this little A-frame and says the slightly uneven floors give it exactly the kind of old Florida charm that new-builds completely lack. The property has amazing drainage — water just kind of finds its own way somewhere, which Deb thinks is a feature rather than something to think about too hard. The backyard fire pit has never once fallen into the ground, which she considers a very good sign and brings up unprompted. Sunsets here are a personal ten out of ten and she will fight you on that.

Old Florida charm is exactly right. The floors are characterfully uneven. Deb's fire pit in the backyard is perfect for evenings.

Such a cute A-frame. The drainage system is remarkable — I watched water disappear into the yard in seconds after a storm. Deb is a 10.

Uneven floors and high ceilings — I could live here. The backyard has that Florida wildness I was looking for. Deb gave excellent local tips.

The sunsets Deb rates a ten are indeed a ten. Perfect stay from check-in to check-out. Truly felt like a local.

Delightful property. The backyard fire pit sank slightly overnight — probably just Florida soil doing Florida things — but the evening before was perfect.

Response from host

Ha! The soil is very dynamic here — it's why the drainage is so good! Fire pit is repositioned and all good. Glad you had a great evening.

Deb's enthusiasm for this property is infectious and justified. The A-frame structure, the light, the yard — all perfect. Unique Florida charm.

The backyard developed a hole approximately four feet wide overnight. The house was fine. The hole was not the house. Deb was very responsive and cordoned it off within the hour.

Response from host

The zone activity varies and I include that in the listing! The yard vents are a natural feature — they've never affected the structure. Cordoned and flagged for guests now. Thanks for being so calm about it!

Woke up to a stunning Florida morning, made coffee on Deb's porch, watched birds in the palms. The drainage thing in the backyard just adds to the Florida mystique.
